A clipping path or deep etch is a vector path that is used to cut out a 2D image by the image editing software which is holding top positions in the world for clipping mask and clipping path. We use photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop to create clipping paths. It is necessary to draw paths around the object. With deep etching, photo editors can change an image’s background, remove or change shadow positions, or hide unwanted elements.

Let’s See How We Do The Clipping Path

Step 1 – Start To Open Adobe Photoshop

Let’s start the clipping path-making process to develop your photo editing skills. First, we open Photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop) on a computer. After that, select an image that we want to edit.

Step 2 – Pen Tool

Select a new path from the path pallet and select the pen tool from the toolbox. This tool requires manual operation manually.

Step 3 – Zoom The Image

After that, we will zoom this image by a quotient of 300% and then use the pen tool to draw the path accurately. After double-clicking on the path press (Enter) to save the path.

Also, to confirm the accuracy of this path, we click Q, then check the background. After that, we press Q to return to my main path edits.

Step 4 – Save The File in PSD

Now, we can save a file in PSD or Tiff format. You can use this file in your program and this file helps you with your design.

The direction of paths can be controlled by the movements of the mouse and the arrow keys of the keyboard. Once a path is completed, double-click on the path and press (Enter) to save the path.
